Rob Darmanin is a New York City based professional photographer, with his own studio and commercial lab located in the in the heart of the NYC Photo District (Flat Iron). Although his passion lies with the ocean and nature, he is just as comfortable shooting products ranging from plush dolls to fine china within the walls of the studio or on location.

"One advantage the studio offers me, is the ability to really control the light... which I consider to be the most important element of a great shot."

He also feels equally at home working with a corporate art director, an aspiring student, or an artist. "The trick to working successfully with so many different types of people, is to feel them out somewhat... get to know a little about them. Once you take the time to do this, you find yourself speaking the same language and ultimately envisioning the same image."
