I was raised in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1979, I relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota -- which is where I live today. Art has always been a big part of my life, since I was very young. I'm mainly a watercolor artist, and enjoy doing florals, beach scenes and artistic nudes. Ideas that inspire me to paint are sometimes just inner feelings, but often a pretty bunch of flowers at a nearby marketplace will provoke me. Trained in art since about 5 years old, I have been blessed with years of practice at several art schools... including one full summer at Harvard College for a painting workshop. In addition, I have attended two art schools in the Minneapolis area: the Edina Art Center and the Minnesota River School of Art.

I paint almost every single day of my life. I like watercolors, as they bring such light to my originals, due to their translucent effects. For me, the most exciting thing about watercolors are the sometimes interesting outcomes with just a drip or a new translucent color.
