Born in Germany, but then raised in Louisiana, Cindy Merritt relocated to south-central Kentucky a number of years ago. She is self-taught, and has been painting for 25 years. She only recently began showing her work at local festivals -- having had one painting win 1st place in 2000 at just such an event.

A single mom with, as she put it, "big dreams" -- Cindy feels completely blessed to be able to work at something she loves doing so much!
