I have been fortunate enough to find opportunities for adventure and travel, and to hopefully remember to stop gaping and take photos while I am there! In connection with my work for Alpine Ascents Foundation, Sherpa Education Fund, I have traveled to Nepal a number of time to visit Sherpa communities in the Khumbu Valley and also in Boudhanath, Kathmandu. Alpine Ascents Foundation supports Nepal's Sherpa community by funding school scholarships for children of disadvantaged Sherpa families from the remote areas of the Khumbu.
